¡Viva el español!

The Department of Modern Languages at Wright State University celebrated a successful Spanish Immersion Day on Friday, September 25, 2009. More than 150 students from nine area high schools participated in a whole day of programming in the WSU Student Union. Activities included a flag parade, Latin dancing, a scavenger hunt, games with riddles, piñatas, crafts, presentations on Latin American Culture, and even our very own jailer to reprimand those caught speaking English!

Next year’s Spanish Immersion Day will be on Friday, October 22, 2010
