Department of Political Science
The Department of Political Science has maintained its tradition of success with the WSU Model United Nations Team. For the 27th consecutive year, WSU’s team brought home top honors from the National Model UN Conference in New York City. A team of 32 students, including seven international students, achieved a top 10% rating out of more than 250 schools.
WSU and Sinclair College collaborate each year on a regional Model UN team for high school students.
Terence Lau, BA Political Science (1995) (Syracuse Law, 1998) was named a Supreme Court Fellow in 2006-2007, and is now a member of the University of Business Administration faculty.
Dr. John Feldmeier now directs the Mock Trial program and Dr. Laura Luehrmann is director of the new MA in International and Comparative Politics.
